New Zealand Pool-Barrier Requirements

This pool is capable of holding water more than 400 mm deep because its walls are 560 mm high. In New Zealand, residential pools capable of holding water to a depth of 400 mm or more require a compliant physical barrier—even if the pool is portable, temporary or only partially filled.

Check applicable barrier and consent requirements with your local council before installing or filling the pool.
